⚠️ Fizz is a test product created by a 10-year-old, supported by her mum. It is not a commercial product. It is being tested in schools to see if it helps children enjoy break times more.

what is Fizz?

Fizz is a simple, friendly web app that helps children choose what to do at break time. It was designed by a 10-year-old with ADHD, who found unstructured break times difficult. Fizz gives children the choice between free play (chaos!) or a structured guided activity — and helps them figure out what that activity could be. Teachers can also use Fizz to find activities to run with their class, including for clubs spanning mixed year groups.

who made Fizz?

Fizz was designed by a 10-year-old, with support from her mum. She came up with the concept, the name, the colour scheme, the logo, the activity ideas, and the overall experience. Her mum helped with the technical build. It is a genuine child-led product. The creator has chosen to stay anonymous for now — you can read more of her story at findyourfizz.co.uk/meet-the-creator.

is Fizz free?

Schools can try Fizz with a free trial of 50 uses, no commitment and no credit card needed. After that, an annual licence is £199 per school per year for 5,000 uses. See findyourfizz.co.uk/get-involved for full details.

is Fizz safe for children?

Yes. Fizz does not collect any personally identifying data from children. Children only enter their first name (optional) and some activity preferences — none of this is stored anywhere. Anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (such as year group and activity type) are logged to power each school's usage dashboard, but this cannot be used to identify an individual child. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

what age is Fizz for?

Fizz supports children from Reception through to Year 10 (ages 4–15) in UK schools. Activity ideas are tailored to be age-appropriate for each year group — including simple, visual, emoji-led instructions for our youngest users. Teachers running clubs with mixed ages can also select a Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 group, in which case Fizz generates three ideas pitched at the younger, middle, and older end of the group.

does Fizz require adult supervision?

For Reception to Year 4, a teacher must be present while pupils use the Fizz engine itself. The activity it suggests can then be carried out independently, at the teacher's discretion. From Year 5 upwards, activities are designed to be done independently with standard break time supervision. Teachers also have their own mode, where they can generate either child-led activities (for pupils to do alone) or teacher-led activities (with facilitation steps for the adult running the session), and can switch between the two at any time.

can teachers use Fizz?

Yes! Teachers and school staff have their own mode in Fizz, separate from pupils. They can generate structured activity ideas for their class, for SEND support, or for clubs spanning multiple year groups (Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2). It is a helpful tool for supporting neurodivergent children who find unstructured time difficult.

how does the AI work?

When someone fills in the form and clicks "find my fizz", the information is sent securely to an AI engine (Anthropic's Claude) that generates personalised activity ideas. The AI has been instructed to suggest only safe, school-appropriate, equipment-specific activities. No personally identifying data is stored or used to train any AI model.

what if the activity suggestions are not appropriate?

We have worked hard to make sure the AI generates safe, age-appropriate ideas. However, as this is a test product, occasional unexpected suggestions may occur. Please report anything concerning to us at hello@findyourfizz.co.uk and we will review it immediately.

is Fizz available as an app?

Not yet — Fizz is currently a web-based tool that can be accessed on any school computer, laptop, or tablet with a browser. A dedicated app may come in the future if the test phase goes well!

how can my school get involved?

We would love to hear from schools interested in trying Fizz. Visit findyourfizz.co.uk/get-involved or email hello@findyourfizz.co.uk and we will be in touch with your free 50-use trial link.

how do I contact you?

You can reach us at hello@findyourfizz.co.uk. As this is a small test project run by a child and her mum, we may not always respond immediately but we will do our best!
